CavCom ear sets can be plugged directly into a 2-way radio or speaker mic to hear radio messages clearly in high noise under the protection of the high NRR ear set. Operators that need to hear their radio but do not necessarily need to transmit clear messages can benefit from this ear set application.
If clear transmission is required from the noise area, it is necessary to utilize a CavCom NC or MIC 2 Control unit for full 2-way communication.
