| Crane Operator | |

| Crane Operators have one of the most demanding jobs on the Platform. Not only do these operators have to work in a high noise area, created by the cranes engine, but have to rely on others to assist with their lifts. Line of sight is often a problem and the Rigger and/or Flagman must be able to communicate clearly with the Crane Operator to ensure the lift is safe and efficient. 2-Way communication is crucial here! | |||

| The Derrickhand must be equipped with efficient communications to ensure their actions are matched with the Drillers requests. Accuracy and precision are crucial here to ensure they are efficient and safe at all times while performing all tasks, and there is little room for ill-communication. | |||

| With an incredibly demanding role, the driller is the one in charge of real time decisions during the drilling operations and needs to know what is going on at all times. 2-way communications is critical to ensure the platform corresponds to the timescale of which the sections operate. | |||

| Maintenance workers are constantly on the move in and out of high noise areas. Sometimes the biggest problem is simply hearing their radio, other times they need full communication.
